Olive P. 'Bobbie' Boyce, 80, of Westminster
Olive P. "Bobbie" Boyce, 80, of Westminster died Monday, June 2, 2008, at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born Aug. 10, 1927, in Clarksburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Arlie and Lucille McCormick Taylor. She was the wife of the late Frank Boyce.
She had worked as a dietician at Springfield Hospital and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Surviving are children and spouses Cheryl Boyce of Westminster, Pamela and Conley Mealey, Frank Boyce and companion Brenda Marshall, and Michael and Linda Boyce; II brothers and sisters; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Schweinbraten; and a brother, James Butcher.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, with the Rev. Albert K. Lane officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rolland M. Brengle Jr., 79, of Highland, Mich.
Rolland Mansfield Brengle Jr., 79, of Highland, Mich., died Sunday, June 1, 2008, in Westminster.
Born Aug. 9, 1928, in Michigan, he was the son of the late Rolland M. and Gertrude Peterson Brengle.
Before retirement, he worked overseas as a sales representative for the Ford Motor Co.
He was a member of the Men's Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 467 in Westminster, the National Rifle Association, and the Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Ownership.
Surviving are children and spouses James K. Brengle of Haverford, Pa., David A. and Marcia Brengle of Westminster, and Karen A. and Larry Givens of Michigan; siblings Larry Brengle of Wisconsin, Judith Finn of Tennessee, Robert Brengle of California and William and Richard Brengle, both of Michigan; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Nicholas J. Chaconas Jr., 66, of Mount Airy
Nicholas J. Chaconas Jr., 66, of Mount Airy died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at his home.
Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Nicholas J. Chaconas Sr. and Margaret Brown Chaconas. He was the husband of Patricia Chaconas, his wife of 45 years.
He owned A1 Crack Repair Inc. and previously owned C & M Foundation Inc., both located in Mount Airy, where he was a resident for 33 years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Suzanne Chaconas of Mount Airy; sons and daughter-in-law Steven and Cynthia Chaconas of Winfield, and Shawn Chaconas of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandchildren Jonathan Biden, Ashley, Nicholas, Grant and Reid Chaconas; and sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Eric Adamson of South Carolina.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Shrine, 16150 St. Anthony Road, Emmitsburg, with the Rev. John Lombardi as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy.

Dolores B. Davis, 82, of Emmitsburg
Dolores Burdner Davis, 82, of Emmitsburg, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born Sept. 8, 1925, in Emmitsburg, she was the daughter of the late Grace Favorite Burdner and Robert Burdner. She was the wife of Harold Davis, who died in 1989.
A member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, she was a retired housekeeper at Mount St. Mary's College. During her life she participated in the Women's Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus, and recently enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends at the Emmitsburg Senior Center.
Surviving are nieces and nephews Bonnie Staub and Patty Shryock-Smith, both of Taneytown, Diane Kobi of Cape Coral, Fla., Robert Hankey of Harrisburg, Pa., Donald Hankey of Allentown, Pa., and Joseph Burdner Jr. of Long Island, N.Y.; sister-in-law Eva Burdner of Long Island; brothers-in-law John Shryock of Taneytown and Marlin Hankey of Estero, Fla.; and friend and neighbor Alan Hawkins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Burdner; and sisters Margaret Shryock and Roberta Hankey; and infant siblings Sterling, Paul and Mildred.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 100 N. Seton Ave., Emmitsburg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Marvin L. Hamm, 65, of Hampstead
Marvin L. Hamm, 65, of Hampstead, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born April 4, 1943, in Grayson Count, Va., he was the son of the late Vance Elihu and Margaret Nora Blackburn Hamm. He was the husband of Gloria Hensley Hamm, his wife of 40 years.
He worked as a truck driver for Suburban Propane for 19 years. He was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He had moved from Bel Air to Hampstead two years ago.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Darren Lee Hamm of York, Pa., Dawn M. Yingling of Hampstead and Vance Todd Hamm of Jarrettsville; grandchildren Stephen Richardson of Bel Air, Donovan Hamm and Corey Hamm, both of York, Heidi Austin, Dalton Yingling and Austin Yingling, all of Hampstead, and Shaina Lynn Hamm of Jarrettsville; and brother James L. Hamm of Bel Air.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Hamm.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, Pa. Interment will be in Slate Ridge Cemetery in Delta.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
