Pandolfi comes to Arts Center
Pianist Thomas Pandolfi will perform several George Gershwin works at the Carroll Arts Center at 7 p.m. Sept. 5.
Pandolfi has performed with several symphonies.
He'll play Gershwin classics like "I Got Rhythm," "Our Love is Here to Stay" and "Rhapsody in Blue."
Carroll Arts Center is located at 91 West Main St. in Westminster.

Exhibit of paintings opens at McDaniel
The McDaniel College Department of Art and Art History presents an exhibit of paintings at the Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in Peterson Hall through Sept. 26.
Artist Lillian Bayley Hoover created the works, which uses toys models and plastic dolls to investigate the realm of national and international political conflicts.
McDaniel College is located at 2 College Hill in Westminster. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The gallery is free to the public.

Steam Show days comes to Farm Museum
Expect plenty of antique farm machinery, cars and working demonstrations at Steam Show Days at the Carroll County Farm Museum Sept. 5-7.
The event will also feature wagon rides, farmhouse tours and a flea market.
The event is being held from 7 a.m. to dusk Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.

Many Moons in Towson
The Asian Arts & Culture Center is presenting the 4th Many Moons Festival at Towson University from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 6.
The festival features performances by professional dancers and musicians, hands-on arts and crafts workshops, and martial arts demonstrations.
Craftspeople will also be on hand. Food and tea will be available.
The event is being held at Towson University's Center for the Arts, 8000 York Road in Towson.
Tickets are $13 for advance purchase, $15 for general admission at the door, $5 for students and youths 3 and older. Admission is free for youths 3 and younger.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is holding two performances at Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore this weekend.

The Owing Mills Mall will be hosting Christmas Carol-oke Summer Jam, a free competition in which contestants will be invited to sing their favorite Christmas carols for a chance to win a trip for two to Atlanta.

Doll House enthusiasts will gather for the Maryland Dollhouse Miniatures Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 in Timonium.

Speedy delivery comes to Hanover
